A breakthrough in the field of landscape design - PrintGREEN

A group of young, creative people Maja Petek, Tina Zidanšek, Urška Skaza, Danica Rženičnik and Simon Tržan, students of the University of Maribor (Slovenia), under the direction of Dušan Zidar made a breakthrough in the field of landscape design. To develop and realize the project «PrintGREEN«, which is a 3D printer that converts conceived inscription or picture, in a lively, herbal imprint the desired size and shape. Inside the printer are not black, but a mixture of soil, water and seeds, which can turn into a printed letter or figure. After drying the organic turbid mixture retains its shape and the latest from it begins to sprout grass. The slogan «PrintGREEN» is the phrase, "Think before you print". The purpose of the project - to combine art, technology and creative production for organic living structures.
